OPEN are celebrating International Women’s Day 2021 with a nationwide DOOH campaign, displaying inspirational messages from women leaders across their entire digital portfolio, in order to raise awareness for the cause. The theme for this years International Women’s Day is #ChooseToChallenge. This campaign aims to celebrate & increase the visibility of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, which is key for encouraging a meaningful change towards equality. International Women’s Day is about celebrating all women’s achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality. This year’s IWD theme is #ChooseToChallenge, which will be a running theme through OPEN Media’s campaign, where women are asked “What does International Women’s Day mean to you?”.

We are thrilled to be running our second campaign celebrating IWD, the theme for 2021 is #ChooseToChallenge. Our first campaign was a huge success and our 2021 campaign is even bigger and better with 53 women committed to the campaign.
It’s so important for OPEN Media to celebrate all the brilliant women involved but also recognise that during the past year women have had to sacrifice so much more in their work/life balance due to the pandemic

This campaign will run on OPEN’s social platforms and the entirety of our digital portfolio in the week leading up to International Women’s Day (1st – 14th March). We’d like to extend a thanks to our two sponsors for this year’s important campaign, Agent Marketing & MSB Solicitors.
For those close to our screens up and down the country, we encourage you to head out and see the messages in person at each of our locations but if not, the images will be shared throughout the week on our social platforms here.
You can also find a gallery below, complete with all of the submissions to view and share. Have a read through for some inspiring words from all of these amazing women.
