OPEN are celebrating our 5th birthday this month!
To celebrate, we thought we’d take a look back at some of our highlights – it’s crazy to see how much the team and our company has changed over the years.
Open Media started 5 years ago with a team of just 2, initially selling advertising space on the tops of taxis.
Fast forward 5 years and both the team and our portfolio has grown dramatically, from 2 people and 1 site on Victoria Street to now having a team of 10 staff, with 15 Sites across 5 UK cities.
This birthday comes at a significant time for OPEN, as we have recently relocated to the iconic Royal Liver Building, which serves as a reminder of how far we’ve come considering the business started in a shared office space in the Baltic Triangle.

We are so excited to be celebrating 5 years of OPEN Media! It’s been a pleasure to watch the company and our team grow and evolve, and I am so proud of how well we withstood the storm of 2020.
Here’s to many more happy years!
Although 2020 has not been the year we all anticipated, we’re still committed to growing as a company – recently launching our 15th site, with plans for 2 more before the end of the year.
