Recap of B Corp Month 2023 – #WeGoBeyond

OPEN are celebrating our first B Corp Month as a B Corp certified organisation, with this years theme being #WeGoBeyond.

B Corp month is an annual, global campaign. Every year during March, B Lab and the global B Corp community join together to celebrate everything it means to be a certified B Corp.

This month is all about raising awareness of the movement, educating audiences on the achievements of the community, as well as championing the importance of the work being done to transform our economic system for the better.

The theme for this years campaign is #WeGoBeyond.
The month is all about showing the world how B Corps go beyond expectations.

‘Beyond the services we deliver,
Beyond greenwashing,
Beyond empty promises and endless delays,
Beyond tired stereotypes and shareholder primacy,
Beyond the bottom line.

Together, we can go beyond business as usual.’

Over the course of this month, we recorded a series of videos detailing a bit about our journey to becoming a certified B Corp, including the reasons why we saw this as an absolute essential for us moving forward as well as some of the steps we have taken to align ourselves as a force for good.

As well as producing this video content, we also ran a full-scale outdoor campaign with B Lab UK, spoke on various panels and hosted a ‘People, Planet, Plates’ sustainability breakfast down in London to spread the message even further.
