The preparations are well underway for the Eurovision Song Contest which is now in less than 100 days, and the city is starting to become a hive of buzzing Eurovision excitement!
The official contest is taking part from 9th-13th May but the fun starts before, with many events taking place around the city. These include the official Eurovision Fanzone at the Pier Head, and countless numbers of unofficial viewing parties so we can be sure to see the music fans descend in their droves.
We can expect to see 9 official live shows at the M&S bank arena, each with a capacity of 11,000. This is not to mention performers, entourages and TV & stage crews as well as thousands of people expected to be drawn to the Fanzone, with attendance figures at previous zones reaching up to 38,000!
Liverpool welcomes the chances to be the host city for this years’ contest in place of Ukraine, with previous host cities seeing their tourism figures rise by 37% and generating revenues of £20.5 million, it is sure to be a party the city will not forget.
Our 12 screens in Liverpool, 7 being in the city centre, will create a perfect opportunity for you to reach record-breaking numbers of people. On top of this we have some spectacular one-off banner opportunities for brands to make the most of this once in a generation opportunity.
